Recently I have felt a need to be more thankful. Most of the time I get side tracked and do not take the time to be thankful and look at the blessing of life itself. I am going to try, emphasis on TRY, to focus a post each Thursday on the many blessings that God has placed in my life and why I am thankful for them.
And I am beginning with one of the greatest earthly blessings God has given me.
And I am beginning with one of the greatest earthly blessings God has given me.
My best friend, my lover, my soul mate.
My husband.
Paul defines and describes love in 1 Corinthians 13:
Love is patient. It is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Loves does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
I am thankful beyond measure for God blessing me with Michael and how he exceeds all that is listed in this passage. He is more than the man of my dreams. I love you Michael.
"An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels."
Proverbs 31:10
