After craving my grandmothers famous Chicken and Dumplings all week, I was on a search to find a recipe on Pinterest.
The recipe I found was chosen because honestly who can turn down a slow cooker recipe that is really easy.
This recipe can be made with chicken breast or chicken thighs. I am not a dark meet eater so I used chicken breasts. I used 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast cut in half.
Crock Pot Chicken & Dumplings

Ingredients
2 Tbs Butter
4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breast or Chicken Thighs
1 Onion, finely diced
2 Cans of Cream of Chicken Soup
2 small package Biscuits- Refrigerated (torn into pieces)
Directions
1. Place the chicken, butter, cream of chicken soup, and onion in the slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover the chicken.
2. Cover and cook for 5 to 6 hours on High. 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.
3. Enjoy!!!
